Networking - Network Attached Storage (NAS)Networking Attached Storage (NAS) is much like an external hard drive. Data can be transferred to the drive via USB 2.0 from the computer or a laptop as normal but the NAS also has the ability to connect to a network.
Simply connect the enclosure to a network via a router or switch and you can access all of your files from any computer in the network.
This is a great way of sharing media between computers or backing up each computer to a drive stored elsewhere.
